Something about weddings makes me ... cry, laugh, smile and happy. Around me, a lot of people are getting married. Some of them in the most traditional ways and some of them not in the least. That made me wonder why. Why would a person want to go way out of their way to be as untraditional as possible.? Avoiding certain musics for the processional for example. It can't just be "rebellion" They are after all getting married and this is an old tradition.
I love weddings and I go to a lot of them. I could probably co-ordinate one without too much pain... Seriously, though, there is a lot more to it than the obvious.
Well I've discovered a few things...
For example, why does the bride stand on the left side of the groom. What are some of the traditions that come from hundred years ago. What are some of the traditions created now? Why pick ceratin color schemes over others? After the obvious choosing of the venue, music, photographer, videographer, flowers, cake... How do you put it all together? what is the hottest stuff out there?
I wanted to keep track of my thoughts and findings somewhere. So this is where I will save. them.
